These Terms of Use apply to all users. By accessing or using Rollr you agree to be bound by this Agreement. Please read it carefully.
This Agreement is an electronic contract that sets out the legally binding terms of your use of Rollr ("the Platform", "we", "us", "our"). You must accept this Agreement to use the Platform and to become a Member.
Rollr is operated by Fernwood Digital Ltd. Subscription billing is processed by our payment provider; the descriptor shown on your bank or card statement is displayed at checkout.
For the purposes of this Agreement, "Member" means any person who provides information to us on the Platform to participate in the Service, whether as a free member or a paid subscriber.
We reserve the right to modify this Agreement at any time at our sole discretion. Any modifications will be posted on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Agreement.
This Agreement incorporates our Privacy Policy, our Acceptable Use Policy, and any other terms disclosed and agreed to by you in connection with specific features, billing, or promotions.
You must be at least 18 years of age to register and use the Platform. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older.
By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that:
Registration for, and use of, the Service are void where prohibited by law.
All terms of this Agreement remain in full force and effect while you use the Platform and/or are a Member.
You may terminate your membership at any time by deleting your account via Settings. If you deactivate your account, we may still retain certain information associated with your account for analytical purposes, record-keeping integrity, fraud prevention, and as otherwise required by law.
We may suspend or terminate your membership at any time, with or without notice, if you violate this Agreement or for any reason at our sole discretion.
No refunds will be issued for unused credits or subscription fees upon termination, whether initiated by you or by us, except where required by applicable consumer protection law.
The Platform is for personal use only. Commercial use is strictly prohibited. Prohibited commercial use includes, but is not limited to:
Organisations, companies, and other entities that are not individual persons may not become Members and may not use the Platform for any purpose.
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. Your username is permanent and cannot be changed once set.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account.
You may not create more than one account. Creating multiple accounts to evade suspension or for any other reason will result in permanent termination of all accounts.
Free members are matched randomly with other verified adults. Standard and Premium members unlock matching filters (gender, country, and, for Premium, preferred categories and verified-only matching) via a monthly subscription.
Standard and Premium are paid monthly subscriptions billed in advance. Your tier determines the matching filters available to you.
Your subscription tier is chosen in your account and can be changed or cancelled at any time. Cancellation stops future billing; tier features remain available until the end of the current paid period.
Rollr offers three tiers: Free, Standard, and Premium. Standard and Premium are paid monthly subscriptions billed in advance; Free provides random matching with no filters.
All payments are processed by our third-party payment provider in your local currency where supported. The price shown at checkout is the amount you will be charged.
Subscription fees are non-refundable once charged, except where required by applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction (including EU/EEA consumer rights where applicable). You may cancel your subscription at any time.
Rollr is not a party to any financial arrangements between members. Members do not pay one another through Rollr, and we accept no responsibility for any off-platform transactions.
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing and tier features at any time. Changes will be communicated on the Platform before taking effect.
You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:
Violation of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in immediate account suspension or permanent termination, and may be reported to relevant law enforcement authorities.
All profile text and uploaded media is subject to automated and manual moderation. Content found to violate our policies will be removed and may result in account suspension or termination.
Profile photos must not contain nudity, sexual displays or acts, or content involving minors. All uploaded media is moderated by AI to ensure compliance with our policy at the point of upload.
We are not liable for user-generated content but reserve the right to remove any content at our sole discretion without prior notice.
If you encounter content you believe violates these Terms, please report it using the in-app reporting feature.
Members have the option to verify their identity via facial biometric and ID document scan. Verified status is displayed on your profile as a trust indicator.
Verification documents and biometric data are encrypted, processed solely for identity confirmation, and are never displayed on your profile or shared with other members.
Verification does not constitute an endorsement of any member by Rollr.
Your use of the Platform is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please read the Privacy Policy carefully.
Your private email address is never displayed publicly and is used solely for account notifications and security communications.
We process your data in accordance with applicable data protection law, including the UK GDPR and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation. For EU/EEA users, additional rights apply as set out in our Privacy Policy.
All Platform design, code, branding, trademarks, and content produced by Rollr is our intellectual property and may not be reproduced, modified, or distributed without our prior written permission.
By uploading content to the Platform, you grant Rollr a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display and use that content within the Platform solely for the purpose of providing the Service. You retain ownership of your content.
You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to the content you upload, and that it does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.
Rollr is a platform that facilitates connections between adults. We do not conduct criminal background checks on members and make no representations as to the character, identity, or intentions of any member.
You are solely responsible for your interactions with other members, both on and off the Platform. We strongly encourage you to exercise caution and good judgment in all interactions. Never share financial details or send money outside of the Platform's systems.
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, as to the availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose of the Platform.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rollr shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Platform.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Rollr, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: (i) your use of the Platform; (ii) your breach of this Agreement; (iii) your content; or (iv) your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
For EU/EEA residents, nothing in this Agreement limits your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws applicable in your country of residence.
We encourage you to contact us in the first instance to resolve any dispute informally. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to your right to bring proceedings in your country of residence if required by applicable law.
EU residents may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Our failure to enforce any provision of this Agreement shall not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce that provision in the future.
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and Rollr with respect to your use of the Platform and supersedes all prior agreements.
We may assign our rights and obligations under this Agreement at any time. You may not assign your rights or obligations without our prior written consent.
