# Why a Performer May Decline an Interaction Request

Rollr Editorial Team 2 October 2026

A performer may decline because a request does not suit their boundaries, presentation, timing or comfort level. They do not owe a personal explanation. This is guidance for respectful future interactions, not instructions for an active Rollr request screen: paid performer requests are currently disabled.

## A profile is an invitation to learn, not a promise

A biography explains a public presentation. It does not require someone to accept every visitor who recognises a shared interest. A performer can choose narrower limits for a particular interaction than the broad labels on their profile suggest. Even a request that appears polite may not suit their current preferences.

Read How to Choose a Live Performer from Their Profile (https://rollr.club/blog/choose-a-live-performer-profile) before approaching a profile. Choosing someone whose stated style already fits your expectations is more useful than selecting a person you hope to persuade. A shared label is a reason to explore, not a guarantee of compatibility.

## Do not turn a no into an investigation

A refusal need not reveal health, relationships, location or personal routine. Asking repeatedly for a reason can put pressure on someone to disclose information they intended to keep private. You can accept the answer without deciding whether the reason was good enough.

### A respectful response

A brief acknowledgement such as “Understood, thank you” is enough. Avoid demands, bargaining or repeated approaches under another identity. Do not interpret a decline as a judgement about your worth; it is simply not an agreed interaction.

## A higher offer is not a boundary challenge

The intended credit-based model still requires voluntary agreement. Offering more after a clear no does not make acceptance owed. Nor does a past interaction establish consent for the next one. Payment, queue position and interest tags must remain separate from the performer’s choice.

Talking About Boundaries Before a Private Video Session (https://rollr.club/blog/talk-boundaries-private-video) explains how a clear general intention leaves room for both adults to decide. The useful request is one a person can decline comfortably, not one designed to make refusal embarrassing or costly.

## Use rejection to improve fit, not pressure

Re-read the biography for a mismatch between your expectation and the stated presentation. Perhaps you want a fast pace while the performer emphasises conversation, or you have assumed a tag promises an activity. Adjust your shortlist accordingly. The goal is to choose a suitable profile, not craft a more persuasive demand.

You can also decide not to proceed. Time spent researching does not create an obligation to buy, and a visitor’s disappointment does not create an obligation to accept. How to Set a Budget for Private Live Video Chat (https://rollr.club/blog/private-chat-budget) helps keep spending separate from frustration or the desire to recover time invested.

## Current release and reporting limits

Rollr does not send paid performer requests in this release. Going live, queues and session billing remain disabled, while approved profiles are published offline. A disabled button or empty directory is not a personal rejection, and support cannot make a performer accept a request.

### Is declining a reason to report someone?

Not by itself. Reporting is for suspected policy violations, threats or other relevant misconduct, not for enforcing your preferred outcome. A performer’s refusal and harmful behaviour are different things. Respect that distinction rather than using a complaint as leverage.

Read Private cam chat: understand the request before the session (https://rollr.club/live-performers/private-cam-chat) for current availability and the intended voluntary format; a good interaction starts with boundaries that both adults can accept.
